Education Programme

The objective of the Education Programme was to engage with school children and teachers in each of the three areas and get them involved in the project.

The schools involved were:

Ireland

  • Murrisk Primary School, County Mayo
  • Clare Island Primary School, County Mayo

Norway

  • Leknes Primary School
  • Bostad Primary School

Scotland

  • Kilmartin Primary School

This element of the project included use of the following resources:

• A secure dedicated message board so that the teachers from the schools could start to communicate and agree the process for getting the children involved.

• A closed message board so that children from the schools could communicate on-line with each other.

• A loans box from each partner containing an assortment of material relevant to each country. This was made available and promoted to schools throughout all three partner countries.
