Description "One of the most impressive duns in Mid
Argyll" stands on a rocky ridge and measured about
15m by 12m with a carefully built wall 3.5m thick.
This still stands 2.3m high (sixteen courses) at
the S but on the NW side has slipped down the
ridge. The entrance is at the NE end but was
reconstructed in antiquity. The original entrance
was about 2m wide but was later reduced to 1m wide
when a short length of walling was inserted. This
still stands 0.9m high and is composed of massive
blocks.
